Supporting
For 2024-25 we will, for a second year, be supporting Evelyn Horne Young Women’s Shelter of the Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa. Safe housing and supportive programs are provided to young women 16 to 20 years of age 365 days year round. They have 16 shelter beds and 16 transitional beds for young women preparing to live independently. This group was selected to be supported for 2 years by last year's membership. In 2023-24 we contributed over $3000 to this very worthy cause.
